SDSM party activists were recorded in a retirement home in Aerodrom today, trying to bribe the residents into voting for their mayoral candidate in Skopje Petre Silegov on Sunday.
The video, published by the Kurir news site, shows several persons distributing supplies as well as materials promoting Silegov, after being driven there in a Ford car. The persons are identified as employees of the PIOM retirement fund, which indicates abuse of public resources to buy votes.
When the person recording the situation asked the activists what are they doing, they try to avoid him and flee. SDSM leader Zoran Zaev staked his position as Prime Minister on Silegov winning on Sunday, and has pulled out all stops to secure this outcome.
