In Ohrid today began the removal of palm trees that were planted at various locations near Lake Ohrid.

A total of 250 palm trees were planted in 2016, but many of them dried up due to unfavorable weather conditions. The Mayor of the Municipality of Ohrid Konstantin Georgieski issued Thursday a working order to the PE “Ohridski Komunalec” for the removal of the palm trees from the Macedonia quay and the Studenchishta canal to the former Park hotel, reads the statement from the municipality.
