In a press release, VMRO-DPMNE calls on Zoran Zaev to beheld responsible for his undermining of the relations with Macedonia’s strategic partners, after a pranked call showed the Prime Minister’s complete lack of preparation and seriousness and his readiness to engage in criminal actions.

With his unserious and destructive actions, Zaev is an embarrassment for the Republic of Macedonia. He risks to deteriorate our ties with our international partners, VMRO-DPMNE said in its press release.

The opposition party demands that Zaev assume responsibility for the failed promise to open EU accession talks in June, due to the lack of domestic reforms, the high levels of crime, corruption and nepotism.

Zaev must also assume responsibility for the mafia like behavior of his officials, who kidnap and beat up citizens, smuggle cigarettes, purchase illegal substances, and are not held responsible before the law. Zaev captured the judiciary and is using it to persecute his political opponents, while pardoning his partners in crime. Under Zoran Zaev and SDSM, the Republic of Macedonia is neither a democratic or a Euopean state, VMRO-DPMNE concludes.
