Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi scheduled a vote of no confidence in the Zaev Government for November 11th, precisely at 11h. The vote comes after the joint opposition, led by VMRO-DPMNE, submitted 61 signatures supporting their demand, and as Zoran Zaev apparently plans to retract his announced resignation. If the number of members of Parliament who want Zaev out remains 61 – or higher – the Government will fall.

We inform that the Parliament has received a request for a vote of no confidence. The session will be held on the third day after the request has been received, Xhaferi’s office told the press.

There is some uncertainty over whether all 61 opposition MPs will remain firm – after one member of the Alternative party announced his reservations for the formation of a future coalition, but there is also the possibility of others defecting from Zaev’s broad and heterogeneous coalition.
