Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, along with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, inaugurated the Serbia-Bulgaria gas interconnector in Nish. Vucic announced plans for a gas interconnector to Macedonia as part of future energy infrastructure projects aligned with European Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi’s strategy.
Expressing hope for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s participation, Vucic mentioned plans for an oil pipeline between Serbia and Hungary, aiming to enhance access to cost-effective oil and diversify Serbia’s oil sources.
During discussions in Nish, Vucic and Radev highlighted the potential for improved relations between Serbia and Bulgaria, aiming to address minor issues concerning literature and other matters. Both leaders emphasized the importance of dialogue in resolving any concerns and expressed commitment to enhancing bilateral ties. Radev also underscored Bulgaria’s efforts toward strengthening relations with Serbia.
