Polish publisher Biblioteka Slav will host a book launch for Macedonian writer Lidija Dimkovska’s novel Non-Oui, translated into Polish by Danuta Ćirlić-Straszyńska, at the House of Literature in Warsaw, Poland, on Tuesday.
Dimkovska’s book will also be promoted during Warsaw’s Book Fair on May 24.
Speaking about the book will be Slavic studies scholar Lilla Moroz-Grzelak; Wyspa literary quarterly editor-in-chief Piotr Dobrołęcki, and the book’s translator into Polish.
Ćirlić-Straszyńska has previously translated Dimkovska’s Hidden Camera and pH Neutral for Life and Death, which was shortlisted for the Polish award “European Poet of the Freedom” in 2016.
