The SONK teachers’ union says that after they announced a general strike that will begin on April 11th, there is no response from the Government.
There is no feedback at all. All we were told is that the economic situation is bad everywhere, and that it will be difficult that our demands are met. We ask that, as the minimum wage was increased by 18.4 percent, our salaries are increased by the same amount. This is a difficult problem, and we don’t know how long the strike will take. We want what is ours in accordance with the law, said SONK President Joakim Nedelkov.
