The Consumer Price Index in November 2019 decreased by 0.1% in comparison with the previous month and in comparison with November 2018. The Retail Price Index decreased by 0.6% compared to the previous month, while in comparison to November 2018 it decreased by 1.7%, State Statistical Office data show.
A decrease in the Consumer Price Index in November 2019, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or chilled fruit by 9.6% and non-alcoholic beverages by 0.3%.
In November, there was also a decrease of the indices of passenger transport by air by 23.0%, liquid fuels for household by 2.3%, information processing equipment by 1.8%, cleaning and maintenance of the dwelling by 1.6%, electric appliances for personal care by 1.4%, equipment for reception, recording and reproduction of sound and picture by 0.9%, recording media by 0.8%, glassware, tableware and household utensils by 0.7%, major household appliances, equipment for sport, camping and open-air recreation by 0.6%, books by 0.5%, liquid fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment by 0.3%.
An increase in the Consumer Price Index in November 2019, in comparison with the previous month, was registered in fresh or chilled vegetables other than potatoes and other tubers by 5.6%, dry fruit and nuts by 1.6%, fresh or chilled fish by 0.8%, other bakery product, sugar, jam, honey, chocolate and confectionery by 0.7%, edible offal by 0.6%, spirits by 0.5%, bread and cereals, meat, cheese and curd by 0.4%.
In November 2019, there was also an increase in the indices of gas for household by 4.5%, footwear by 2.3%, sewage collection by 1.1%, motorcars by 1.0%, other personal effects by 0.8%, other medical products, package holidays by 0.5%, water supply, furniture and furnishing by 0.3% and garments by 0.2%.
