After missing from the public’s eye for a week, Zoran Zaev is today reportedly in the Parliament, for a meeting with DUI party leader Ali Ahmeti. This comes as the opposition parties initiated a vote of no confidence in Zaev’s Government and even DUI, which stood by Zaev until now, empowered Ahmeti to begin talks with all parties, except for Levica.
Zaev also met with Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi, who today informed the public that the opposition’s request for a vote of no confidence has been received and that the vote will take place on November 11th.
Zaev, of course, announced that he will resign himself, after badly losing in the local elections. Today Zaev issued a defiant message, in which he did not directly announce that he is withdrawing his offer of resignation, but said that he will fight the creation of a VMRO-DPMNE led Government.
