We won in 42 municipalities and the city of Skopje, and the difference in votes is over 55,000 votes. The difference from both rounds of the local elections is 110,000 votes. That is why we need snap elections, said VMRO-DPMNE Vice President Vladimir Misajlovski.

Zoran Zaev announced that he will resign as Prime Minister and SDSM party leader in face of this defeat, but still wants to have SDSM remain in power, through a proxy Prime Minister.

The Government is delegitimized. The people showed Zaev a red card. That is why we need elections urgently, Misajlovski said.
