Lawyer Aleksandar Tortevski, who was a prominent supporter of the Colored revolution and the appointment of a Special Prosecutor, called for a thorough investigation into Katica Janeva’s work.

I have no insider information, but nobody is above the law. It would be best for Janeva if a serious investigation is ordered and all doubts are publicly examined, Tortevski said.

Katica Janeva is the focus of a major investigation after 1TV station owner Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 was arrested today on the charges that he extorted 1.5 million EUR from businessman Jordan Orce Kamcev, promising that he’ll get his close friend Janeva to drop or greatly reduce her charges against Kamcev. Janeva had her phones seized by the police and Lile Stefanova, an influential prosecutor in her office, was also reportedly questioned today.

Tortevski recently leveled corruption allegations against Vanco Ordanoski, the brother of journalist Saso Ordanoski, who is a major Janeva supporter and a top anchor in Boki 13’s TV station.
