Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic went on a walk around Novi Sad late on Wednesday with their guests – the Prime Ministers of Albania and Macedonia, Edi Rama and Zoran Zaev.
Zaev and Rama traveled to Belgrade, or Novi Sad, at the initiative of the Serbian president, and a trilateral meeting will be held today, where the main topic will be Vucic’s proposal to establish a “small Schengen”.
The purpose of this proposal is to better connect markets in the region and remove barriers to business and provide a free flow of goods, people, services and capital to a market of 20 million people. Experiences so far show that cargo trucks at border crossings in the countries of the region wait more than 20 hours.
