Russian general says the goals of the first day of attacks were achieved

Russian General Konashenkov said that the armed forces have achieved their goals for the first day of the military intervention in Uraine.

Konashenkov said that 83 points of military infrastructure in Ukraine were destroyed, along with four planes, one helicopter and one drone that were airborne, the Russian TASS news agency reported.

The attacks are on-going, with a strong thrust from Belarus towards Kiev, another attack north from the Crimea, a push toward Kharkov and to expand the already held araes in Donbas.
