A migrant has brutally assaulted a young woman in an underpass in a central Italian town. The attack was recorded by a surveillance camera, V4 news agency reported.

A video shared by opposition Lega party chief Matteo Salvini shows a migrant trying to stop a young woman in an underpass in the Central Italian town of Arezzo. Refusing to stop, the woman keeps on walking. The migrant is then seen running after her and striking her face forcefully with a bottle. Clearly terrified by the assault, the woman flees her attacker while he continues to threaten her.

Since the formation of Italy’s new pro-migration left-wing government, which opened the country’s ports for illegal migrants closed by former Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, the number of crimes committed by migrants has been on the rise.
