Interior Minister, Sander Lleshi announced on Thursday that the double control at the Albania-Kosovo border was removed.

The Minister informed that the Council of Ministers approved on Wednesday the decision for removing double controls at the “Morine” border crossing point between Kosovo and Albania.

“The government yesterday approved the decision for this important change, which greatly facilitates the free movement between Albania and Kosovo,” said Lleshi.

This decision was signed during a joint governmental meeting between the Albania and Kosovo, a few weeks ago in Peja.
