On Monday, artist and humanitarian Zhivko A. Popovski-Cvetin is curating an exhibition titled “Flowers of Peace” to commemorate the 77th anniversary of UNICEF’s establishment and the 78th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) by the United Nations in Geneva.
The venue for this significant event is the Cinematheque, where the opening address will be delivered by Jordan Plevnesh, the former Ambassador of Macedonia to France and UNESCO. The event will also feature a captivating musical performance by Boris Trajanov, a baritone and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador. Trajanov will be accompanied by Darko Marinovski on piano, along with the mesmerizing voices of opera singer Serafina Fantauzzo and Dragan Mijalkovski. This convergence of artistic expressions aims to honor these pivotal anniversaries while emphasizing the importance of peace and human rights on a global platform.
