While we are facing a difficult period and worse times with the coronavirus crisis, we see that the government does not know how to deal with the situation, said VMRO-DPMNE President Hrisitjan Mickoski, during Sunday’s Facebook Q&A session.

A rather difficult period awaits us because of the incompetent government, because of everything that that government did in the period between the first and the second wave, when the whole of Europe was preparing for the second wave, they were convincing us of any new normalcy and that they knew what they are doing, while in reality the number of cases in this second wave is ten times higher than in the first one, Unfortunately, the number of people losing their lives is in double digits, and the country will soon face economic shock bomb, Mickoski said.

He pointed out that the government does not know how to respond to the crisis, because they have shown that not only they are incompetent but also ignorant.

That is why VMRO-DPMNE proposes measures that will facilitate the lives of citizens. We want to help the citizens because we see that they are left at the mercy of a government that is not interested in the health of the citizens. We called for the release from work of the chronically ill, the introduction of free testing for health workers, educators because they are in daily contact with citizens, the formation of a special commission, but so far there is no response from the government except for its ignorant attitude, said Mickoski.
