After refusing to be interrogated by state prosecutors until he is given access to the evidence against him, suspected racketeer Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 was escorted to the OJO office of state prosecutors again today.
It is expected that former Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva, who followed Boki’s lead in her defense approach, will also be brought to OJO tomorrow. Both complained of serious health issues, through their defense teams, and demanded to be released into house arrest like the third co-defendant Zoran Mileski – Zoki Kicheec.
The two should be allowed to review the evidence based on which they are charged with extorting millions from businessmen who were targeted by Janeva. Meanwhile, chief organized crime prosecutor Vilma Ruskoska declared the investigation completed, even though the two main suspects were interrogated only once, during their arrests, and the questioning stopped well short of the long list of SDSM party officials who were suspected of being involved in the scandal.
