The European Commission coordinated help from Germany, Sweden, Czechia and Slovenia to help Macedonia fight the forest fires.

Germany an Sweden will dispatch two fire fighting planes each and Czechia and Slovenia will contribute a helicopter each, on top of the helicopter given by Serbia. EU is also sending a contact officer to Macedonia to help coordinate future assistance. EU is also providing assistance to Albania and Bulgaria, who faced similar problems.
