Foreign Minister, Bujar Osmani, said Tuesday that Macedonia will not send the new ambassador of the country to Russia, who was supposed to leave on March 15.

Osmani did not put this decision in a political context, but connected it with the appeal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to all citizens of Macedonia who are in Russia to return because it may happen that they will not be able to do so soon, due to flight bans to Russia.

Several countries have begun expelling Russian diplomats and banning Russian propaganda media. These days, the Russian embassy in the country is very active on social networks with justifications for the “special operation” in Ukraine.
