Today’s hearing in the Racket scandal was postponed after both of Katica Janeva’s defense attorneys failed to show up. The court was expecting to hear from one of Janeva’s principal deputies Lile Stefanova, who was allegedly also involved in the extortion of millions from businessman Jordan Orce Kamcev.
But both Veljo Kadiev and Irena Frckoska, who are defending Janeva, said they are to sick to attend the hearing. Frckoska is the wife of former Interior Minister Ljubomir Frckoski, who was recently named as one of the five chief figures in the scandal.
