The political party Levica filed Thursday a complaint with the State Agricultural Inspectorate and the State Inspectorate for Construction and Urban Planning for an urgent inspection of the construction activities taking place on the Struga coast, where a huge reed location was previously set on fire.

The illegal destruction of the Struga coast that lasts for years and endangers the whole lake’s ecosystem is continuously ignored by every government establishment. Natural wealth should not be treated solely as private property for financial benefit of a small circle of people protected by the authorities The political party Levica will use all possible mechanisms against illegal usurpation and the destruction of one of our greatest natural treasures, Levica wrote.
