The opposition VMRO-DPMNE has been demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Zoran Zaev for several weeks due to the failed negotiations with Bulgaria and the failure to get a date for the start of EU negotiations. However, Prime Minister Zaev said in an interview with TV21 that this will not happen. He stressed that the people were behind the European agenda and that all institutions served the people well.

Our people are backing the European agenda. All our people are behind us, and all of us, the most responsible from the executive, local government and President Pendarovski, serve the people best, said Zaev.
