The FBI is now investigating the crash near L.A. that killed basketball legend Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, coach John Altobelli along with his wife and daughter and three others. The private helicopter was reportedly warned that it is flying low prior to the crash.

The pilot circled for 15 minutes as he waited to land in poor weather and dense fog. It is believed that he lost sight of the surroundings and crashed into a hillside.

Kobe’s death caused a tremendous outpouring of emotion across the world. Fellow basketball stars such as Michael Jordan, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and LeBron James expressed their condolences as did President Donald Trump and former President Barack Obama.
