Privately operated Skopje bus companies will not work on Monday.

The companies are protesting the fact that the city hasn’t paid them for their services since January. Depending on the response from the city, the companies are warning that they may decide to block streets in the city.

Since the election of Mayor Arsovska, frequent disputes have broken out with both the private bus companies, and the much larger city operated public service.
