Zoran Zaev and his mayoral candidate in Skopje Petre Silegov announced a press conference shortly.
Zaev waited until 1:30 to address the public after his defeat in the first round of the elections. Now that the string of losses is official, the conference comes much sooner, at the same time when VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickosi is also expected to address the public.
Main thing to watch for is whether Zaev will keep his promise to resign as Prime Miniter if he loses in Skopje and loses a majority of other municipalities. The defeat of Silegov in Skopje looks certain at the moment, with VMRO backed candidate Danela Arsovska leading by over 20,000 votes with almost 70 percent of the vote processed despite the brutal negative campaign Zaev and Silegov launched against her in the final days.
