At the December European Council meeting, we reaffirmed our commitment to include all six Western Balkan partners in the European Union. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated at the European Parliament’s plenary session that the Commission will present reform ideas next month. She highlighted the opening of accession talks with Ukraine, emphasized the need for financial support, and addressed agreements with Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Von der Leyen also touched on the New Pact on Migration and Asylum, urging Parliament’s support. Amid global challenges, she emphasized the importance of unity for a strong Europe.
