Skopje Mayor Danela Arsovska responded to Culture Minister Bisera Kostadinovska – Stojcevska over the reconstruction work of Skopje’s Universal Hall concert venue that was botched by the Culture Ministry and the previous City Hall administration.

Arsovska invited Minister Kostadinovska for a meeting, but she responded that she is willing to meet only in front of the Universal Hall, which Arsovska accepted.

This is an utterly unserious reaction. The Minister should not flee from an invitation for a meeting. This is a city landmark we are talking about, and its reconstruction was being carried out against all building standards, Arsovska said during their meeting.
